It has been a sweet week at Haus Boven this week. Literally sweet- I think Molly consumed far more candy and jigglers than "real" food today- and sweet in memory making terms too. Today is Easter and it's been special to see Molly start to grasp the story of Jesus' death and resurrection. We have just recently finished up the Easter story in our children's Bible and so the scenes were fresh in her mind. At church today, a dramatic Easter program was presented and Molly watched intently. "Where is Jesus? Why is Mary crying? Where are the soldiers?" she asked. Molly was particularly interested in Peter - Dave was playing his part today. Molly still has a long way to go in understanding the big picture... but so do all of us. And that childlike faith is really the goal, not adult-like faith, right?
After church, we had lots of family over for Easter lunch - Mom and Dad Boven, Mom and Dad Francis, Beth, Emily, Bryce and Turtle the puppy too. It was sweet to catch up with everyone and I got to try my hand at being the event coordinator. I have pretty much figured out that no one really gets every dish hot at once... maybe by the time you're seventy-ish, have hosted a billion big sit down meals, and you've got that Martha Stewart confidence... but I definitely have a ways to go. We had a great time and it was a special birthday treat to have so many loved ones together.
Happy Easter, everyone! He is risen!

| This week was our last time at Little Lambs. Molly LOVED all of her teachers and will miss all the fabulous lessons and crafts that they created for her! |
| Ms. Margie was Molly's song leader at Little Lambs... Molly started the year shy and quiet and progressed into a boisterous singer. |
| Egg blowing time! |
| Molly is a pro at dyeing eggs... and fingers! |
| Molly and I had a strawberry smoothie party this week... |
| SMOOTHIE COMA! |
| Spring is finally here... we took some time to enjoy our favorite playground. |
| Molly is a jiggler PRO. Notice how great she is at putting the cutter right in the middle of the pan- wasting as much jiggler space as possible! |
| Overwhelmed by a mama hug! |
| Molly got me some SWEET socks for my birthday- gnomes, burgers and fries in love, and fruits and veggies with mustaches. Oh and the socks came with a Zack Morris/Screech trading card... AWESOME. |
| Molly was excited to hunt for her easter basket this year... and even more excited to eat the peeps inside! |
| Thanks for the special Easter outfit, Grammy! |
| Thanks for having an Easter party with us, Papi and Nana! |
| Dinner! |
| Molly is a pro at unwrapping presents- especially the ones that don't belong to her. |
| Egg hunt! |
| We finished the night off with a little Forbidden Island... yay for cooperative fun! |

Molly's card for me played the "Hamster Song"... She's quite the mixmaster/dancer when she gets that card going.
