Creative Cat!

Molly is one creative girl. It's so fun to see her come up with her own ideas and inspirations. Throughout the last month, we've put together a set of drawers full of creativity goodies and we've come up with some great projects. Recently, we've made a Noah's ark, complete with National Geographic animal cut outs, a spider web with a spider that climbs up and down, and an oatmeal canister drum. We've tried to come up with ideas that match a book we're reading or an idea we're working on, but the best things come right out of the blue. Dave has been coaching Molly in Lego Duplo building techniques and she shocked both of us with a camel yesterday- and it actually looked like a camel! We've got big plans to make a robot costume... we'll update our loyal fans on our progress in making that dream a reality.
This is an older pic of Molly and her fingerpaints... We recently opted for watercolors!

Ahh... So tidy and quick and clean! But we'll still bust out the finger paints again. We just can't resist a good mess.

Little drummer girl! We're big fans of rockin out to Putumayo Kid's Latin Playground album!

It's a camel!

Molly and I met Dave downtown for a tour of his big corner office and we just couldn't resist a stop by the Lego store. Howdy Woody!

Saturday, we hit up the Chicago Children's Museum. We missed Jimmy and his hoses!
Cardboard wonderland!

Love that lunch on the Metra! Dave has perfected the over the head yogurt airplane dive.

Molly is really into finding colors that match. When we realized that she and Daddy had matching church clothes on, it was pretty much the best thing ever. But where are Dave's floral socks and pink shoes? We really need to take him shopping...
