Love is...

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 
 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.


This week, I'm taking a moment to appreciate the ways I see love through my little girl. Molly is patient. This week, she was willing to sit beside me for an hour in the doctor's office, waiting for her checkup. Molly is kind. This evening, she noticed cuts on my hand from earlier in the day. She put her arm around me and said, "I will take care of you, Mama." Molly knows how to share her joy and how to celebrate the joy of others. She forgives and forgets and doesn't have a clue about what resentment is. Oh, to have love like a child that trusts, hopes and perseveres. Thanks for your love, Molly. We love you, too!

Love bugs! We sent these little guys off to Molly's grandparents, aunts and cousins.

Wednesday we had a little twin time. Molly and are baking superstars... this time we made some pita bread from scratch.

Valentin6e's breakfast! Thursday was a SUPER busy day for all of us, so before the chaos we started it off with a special breakfast of heart shaped eggs.

This is Molly's lollipop valentine for daddy. Love that creativity!

Friday morning we got a super special surprise from Mike, Amy, Jimmy and Annie... they sent a copy of a Disney story collection that Molly had admired during their visit. Thanks, LA Bovs! We've been reading it non-stop!

This weekend we headed to Michigan to see Bompy and Grammy and enjoy the snow.

One fun game this weekend was playing "Troll Shop" with my old troll collection. Molly was the purveyor of trolls. Dave was the superstar customer.

One of the best parts of sledding... those long walks up the hill make for sleepy girls and long afternoon naps during the car ride home.
