Giving Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for this year. Here are a few things that come to mind...

We're thankful for...
- work/school/family life. We love the balance between our time at home and time at work. I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with Molly and Dave is in his element at Loyola.
-family! We're those lucky people who can see both sets of grandparents in one weekend, along with aunties, uncles and cousins too. And through the power of Skype, we can catch up with those crazy California Bovens.
- friends. At our church service on Wednesday evening, Molly kept asking to go find her friends in the nursery - we're so thankful for the friendships that Dave and I have formed and for the way those relationships have spilled over into Molly's life.
-grace. We're overwhelmed by God's goodness to us. That he knows our hearts and thoughts and actions and that he still loves us so deeply is something we are so, so grateful for. It's exciting to hear answers to prayer in the lives of our friends and loved ones and to put our hope in his plans!

Molly the mole likes to burrow at night. This is how she was sleeping one morning this week.

We're thankful for crazy clothes! And balloons!

Molly invented her own "sit-n-spin" this week when she plopped a sauce pan on top of the stock pot.

Playing "stack the spices" while Mommy worked on pumpkin pie.

Molly's contribution to our meals this year was jigglers! We cut out shapes like snails, moose, and dinosaurs. Not your typical Thanksgiving themed shapes, but awfully tasty!

Thankful (and turkey-full) family!

The Boven Thanksgiving!

Francis thanksgiving is always on Saturday. Yum! Molly especially enjoyed her ketchup (checkup) dipping pool.

This year we got to meet Faolan, my cousin Jeremy's 9 month old son. He's the one in Jeremy's arms, not the baby on Molly's back.
