Trick or Treat! This last couple of weeks have been full of treats for us - lots of sweets, lots of time with Daddy, lots of great weather. Halloween was a blast - we carved one more pumpkin and then went trick or treating in the evening. Molly was Huckle Cat from Richard's Scarry's Busytown. We always seem to pick out costumes that are a little less mainstream. Last year it was, "What is she, an i-pod?" when we dressed her up as a robot. This year it was, "A cat in lederhosen?" We're glad Molly thinks out of the box with her dressing up.
With the nice weather, we've been trying to get outside as much as possible. Molly's been loving her trike... we've been doing lots of rides to Arcade Park in our neighborhood. Tonight Molly was even racing a kid on his Big Wheel bike. Guess who won! I hope your money wasn't on Molly and her slow, steady little legs.
In other news, we're still waiting on Maxi Waxi... this baby is giving me lessons in patience! At least I'm being well taken care of by Molly and Dave... they provide plenty of distractions between playing trains, dinos and slinky. I'm ready to play (real!) baby! :)

| Digging out the guts! |
| Who's face is the silliest? |
| Hurray for Huckle! |
| A neighbor's Pullman pumpkin... carving of the clocktower! |
| The rain held out just enough for us to load up Molly's candy pumpkin! Dave was carrying it by the end of the night! |
| Treat Treat Treat! Molly got a GIANT chocolate bar from our neighbors!!! (The good news for Dave and I was that Molly's not a big fan of chocolate... SHHH! Don't tell Mike and Alida!) |
| Our neighborhood garden had a "spooky garden" to visit. Here's an Asian Carp handing out candy. They said, "Usually, we're stealing resources, but today we've got something for you!" |
| The Jack-o'-lantern display... spooktacular! |
| Grammy and Bompy popped by on Saturday to visit and treat us to some Chi Tung! Maxi Waxi has been craving orange chicken... this was a huge treat! |
| Trike time! We figured out how to strap Molly's doll to the front... I wonder if this is how she'll carry her little sibling. |
| Enjoying a beautiful fall day! |
| Happy Diwali! Our celebration was a little low key this year, but we made the effort to enjoy some chicken masala and naan. |
| Super girl! Love the cape and those big strong muscles! |
| Blueberry smile! |
| Slinky time on the stairs. |
| This is how Molly makes her way up the stairs before bed. "Carry me upside down, Daddy!" |
| Dinosaurs, trains, matchbox cars, and picnics... It's fun to see how many toys we can combine into one play session! |
