Little Bovens: Tis the Season!

We've had a busy week of Christmas celebrations! Here's how we've celebrated Jesus' birthday...

My special ticket! We took the train downtown on Monday and the the conductor gave Molly her own ticket. Almost as special as the Polar Express!

This is as close as we got to Santa! The good news is, we only waited in the Santa line for 5 minutes at Macy's and we took our own picture for free. :)

Hindi sighting! We hit up the Rock 'N Roll McDonald's for a happy meal and a McRib and the garbage can said "Dhanyavaad". That means "Thank You".

Molly has mastered the art of dipping in two sauces and fitting a bite of both french fry and McNugget in her mouth at the same time. We're so proud.

Rock star! She put this outfit together all by herself. Get ready, Project Runway!

Merry Christmas Jayden! Molly is snuggling with her favorite buddy and the monkey that we made for him.

Special delivery! We dropped off some goodies for the neighbors.

Christmas with the Boven clan started with some cookie decorating. Logan and Molly only made it through a few cookies, although the rest of us helped out by making lots of cookies that look like they could have been made by little kiddies.

You can never have too many sprinkles!

Saturday night was our special Christmas dinner with just Dave, Molly and I. We went for Christmas pasta this year.

Molly had her own version of our fancy meal... it involved a lot of ketchup.

Sunday morning was presents for us. The first thing Molly said when she opened her eyes in the morning was, "Where's Santa?" This was the year of the book too. She got this beautiful one from Jimmy, Annie, Mike and Amy. Thanks, LA Bovs!

This year we decided to get a present for people in need. Molly picked out a goat from the World Renew catalog... and this is the ornament we made to go with it.
